Privacy Policy

What this is

Continuity Atlas is a web-based GIS continuity planning tool operated by Carley Fitzgerald. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this site and how it is used. It is written to be read, not to bury disclosures in legal language.

Information collected during purchase

When you purchase a license, you provide an email address and payment details. These are handled as follows:

• →Payment details (card number, billing address) are processed entirely by Stripe. Continuity Atlas never sees or stores your payment card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to that data.
• →Email address is stored in a secure database to issue and manage your license key. It is used to send your license key and any critical service notices. It is not sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or added to any mailing list.

Your plan data

Everything you enter in the Builder stays on your device. Plan data is saved to your browser's local storage and is never transmitted to any server. When you export a report, that file is generated locally and downloaded directly to your computer. Clearing your browser data or switching browsers will remove your saved draft.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies as part of the payment process. No third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) are installed on this site.

Third-party services

• →Stripe handles payment processing. Your financial data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• →Resend delivers transactional email (license key delivery). Your email address is passed to Resend for that purpose only.
• →Neon hosts the license database. License records (email, license key, purchase date) are stored securely in a managed PostgreSQL instance.

Data retention

License records are retained indefinitely so that your access can be verified and restored if needed. If you would like your record removed, contact the email below and it will be deleted within 7 days. Note that deletion of your license record will revoke your access to the Builder.
